This year, HAP launched the Duffy KARE (Kensington, Advocacy, Representation and Empowerment) Project with funding from HAP Board Member, Tom Duffy. HAP held its first KARE legal clinic at the Kensington Storefront on Friday, February 1. Many thanks to Morgan Lewis who sent five new volunteer attorneys to work with the clients. Cases included birth certificate applications, a veterans benefits case, and a Supplemental Security Income (SSI).
